Clinically Ever After

A conference to help you deepen insight through imagination. A conference unlike any other, this event blends advanced clinical insight, playful imagination, and professional rejuvenation, all inside the most iconic, joy-inducing setting in the world. Whether you’re craving inspiration, meaningful connection, or a creative jolt to your work—this experience was made for you.

I will be speaking on “The Spell Breaker: Using Story and Imagination to Heal Shame and Reclaim the Self.”

Many of the Disney characters that we all grew up loving have lived under powerful spells. The spells weren’t always the kind cast by witches, but the kind that quietly took root in the psyche through early relational wounds, emotional abandonment, or impossible expectations.

These spells are metaphors for shame. They are narratives we internalize when our needs aren’t met, when we’re told that our feelings are too much for others to hold, or when our authentic selves feel unsafe to express. The spell says: Be smaller. Be better. Be perfect. Be silent. Don’t be you.

I will facilitate a workshop that invites conference attendees to explore how these shame-based identity spells form, and how we can break them through story, imagination, and therapeutic creativity.
